We have been without a functioning dryer for weeks now and as a result have had to hang *all* of our laundry out on the line. We waited to buy our dryer until we could afford it and took a trip to Sears tonight.
With our large family, the only appliance brand I’ve had hold up to the abuse we put it through is Kenmore. We’d settled on the lowest priced in-store model they had ($549 on sale) which was still in my budget. The salesman then took us to the “scratch and dent” section where we found a much nicer dryer marked down from $899.99 to $474. Scratch and dent works for me.
