Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- 5 TB shortening
- 1 TB ghee
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 TB molasses
- 1/2 c teff flour
- 1/2 c sorghum flour
- 1 c GF oats
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- dash allspice
- dash nutmeg
- 1/2 c raisins
Mix ghee and shortening together until smooth and add sugar, mixing well. Stir in egg, molasses and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Add raisins. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Allow cookies to cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.

Yummm!! Those look delicious!! I have raisin haters here, but I could try them with chocolate chips!
