
Menu Plan for the Week of September 29-October 5
The hot tea was such a hit with my kids last week that I’ve decided to continue it, adding in additional fruit/juice in other places. This menu is also gluten-free. The eczema was doing much better until I forgot that I was gluten-free (insert loser smilie here) on Friday.
Breakfasts:
- Boiled eggs and bananas, hot tea
- Oatmeal with raisins and almonds, hot tea
- Boiled eggs with cinnamon raisin bread (GFCF) and hot tea
- Hot cereal and milk
- Pineapple Upside Down Muffins and fruit salad, hot tea
- Bacon, hashbrowns, and eggs, hot tea
- Crepes , hot tea
Lunches:
- Hummus with carrot sticks, pasta (GF pasta) salad
- PBJ on GFCF bread, carrot sticks, apple slices
- Toastas with refried beans, salsa, corn
- Hamburger gravy, biscuits
- Sweet and Sour Lentils, brown rice
- Nachos
- Lunchmeat roll-ups and chips
Dinners:
- Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Peas
- Cubano Chicken Rice Bowls
- Lentil Chard Soup, GF bread and butter
- Bunless hamburgers, roasted potatoes, green beans
- Chicken and biscuits, broccoli
- Zucchini Tomato Bake (looks like the last time of the season.)
- Steak, coconut lime rice, peas
Snacks:
- Caramel Corn
- Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- Apple slices and peanut butter
